Sarah Ceraso is an emerging dance artist born and raised on Wurundjeri Country in Naarm (Melbourne). Her evolving practice explores dance improvisation, holistic movement, and the body as a vessel for interdisciplinary art—driven by curiosity and shaped through engagement with different environments.
While studying at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), Sarah received the Norma De Gruchy Excellence Scholarship and was selected for a creative and cultural exchange in the Cook Islands through the New Colombo Plan Grant. This experience deepened her interest in how environment informs movement, and how body and place can co-exist in art
